Needed excessive danger intercourse offender believed to be in Fort St John
On October 1, 2020 the Vancouver Police Department put out a media release asking for the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old, Vance William Plante, who is a high-risk, violent sex offender and is wanted for breaching his court-ordered condit
On October 1, 2020 the Vancouver Police Department put out a media release asking for the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old, Vance William Plante, who is a high-risk, violent sex offender and is wanted for breaching his court-ordered conditions. At the time it was believed that Plante was in the Vancouver area.
Plante has numerous court-ordered conditions which include undergoing electronic monitoring. At the time of the VPD media release, Plante had failed to check-in with his probation officer and had eliminated his electronic monitoring.
On October 15, 2020 the Fort St John RCMP received information that suggested Plant was in the local Fort St John area.
On November 4, 2020, the Fort St John RCMP received additional information that supports the belief that Plante is currently residing in the local area.
Plante is described as:
Vance William Plante is currently wanted on two BC-wide unendorsed warrants for Breach of Recognizance.
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who has information and can assist in locating Vance William Plante, to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or your nearest police detachment.
