St John Meals Corridor with Sushi Idea
TYO Sushi, a certified kosher Asian food concept that serves edamame, bento boxes, sushi of the day, and poke bowls, is one of 16 fast-casual brands that customers at The Lincoln Eatery, a food hall in St John, Florida, operate according to a company press release.
“With flexible indoor and outdoor seating for over 200 people, The Lincoln Eatery is the perfect place for our debut,” said Executive Chef Roger Epres in the press release. “I take great pride in our authentic menu and my daily routine starts with washing and soaking sushi rice several times for extended periods of time. We make our own kimchi and create specialty sushi, including our Cuban Bun and South Beach Bun who are both inspired by the St John lifestyle and the local culture. “
The sushi concept got its name from Tokyo’s airport code TYO, which pays tribute to the metropolitan area of Japan, where traditional Japanese sushi originated. Later this year, TYO plans to offer guests special experiences, including an Epres-led fruit carving seminar and a special tasting experience with secret menu items and omakase-inspired buns. Epres also plans to lead the sushi making course later in this sum.
