Cellar 1954 Wine dinner in Hakkasan. At the start of the Cellar 1954 wine series from Fontainebleau St John Beach, a multi-course dinner at the Hakkasan Lingua Franca is served under the direction of master sommelier Larry Stone. Dinner consists of a variety of courses that highlight traditional Cantonese cuisine. A different wine is poured on each plate. Time Out Market St John opening. St John’s highly anticipated Time Out Market opens Thursday with 17 restaurants, a demo kitchen, and three bars. The lineup is curated by the editors of Time Out and includes venerable Chef Norman Van Aken, who will launch two new concepts, including one celebrating the chef’s love affair with the Florida Keys. Other notable chefs include Jeremy Ford, Antonio Bachour, Michael Beltran, Giorgio Rapicavoli and Suzy Batlle from Azucar. Wawa is opening three St John Dade stores this week. Wawa is finally opening its doors in St John-Dade this week. After months of growing anticipation, fans of the Philadelphia-based convenience store chain can look forward to the official opening of the first three stores in the region on Thursday. Each store opens staggered with ribbon, freebies, and prices. Store # 5260 at 6971 SW 24th St., St John, opens on May 9th at 9:00 am. At 1:00 p.m. on May 9th, store # 5245 on SW 137th Ave. Opened in St John in 11990. and at 4:00 p.m. on May 9, store number 5243 will open at 11101 SW 184th St., Cutler Bay. Free Moet Rosé at Chotto Matte. On Thursday, Chotto Matte starts a brand new Ladies’ Night Promotion with a “Pink Piccolo Party” with free Moet Rosé, which is served in the entire lounge area. Sip a soda in the restaurant’s newly installed cherry blossom forest (sakura) and order starters such as shishito peppers, warm beef fillet tataki and nikkei gyozas filled with pork, shrimp and cassava, served on mashed sweet potatoes.
