Fort St John RCMP examine break-in at native Co-op

On July 9, 2022 at 2:04am, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of a Break and Enter in progress by two suspects at the Fort St John CO-OP cardlock located at 7315 100th Avenue.

Frontline police officers attended but suspects were gone upon arrival.

Thieves broke a window to make entry and made off with cigarettes and two safes of which one safe and parts of the second have been recovered by police.  A hydraulic device was used to remove one safe.

A description of one of the suspect vehicles led police to locate an abandoned 1977 flatbed GMC 3500 pickup truck that had been stolen earlier in the night, at approximately 1:35am, from Prostreet Automotive, 6923 87A Avenue.

Fort St John RCMP have identified two suspects who are described as:

Suspect #1

 Suspect 1 with hood over his cap, pulling facemask down a bit with possible mustache
