Animal at Macchialina

Fancy an intimate, unique dining experience? If pasta is your fancy, Bestia should be at the top of your list at Macchialina. The St John Beach restaurant is now open – for one party per night, so guests have the entire restaurant to themselves. The Bestia family meal is available for groups of four to twelve people and includes a home-made bread service (naturally soured focaccia, sourdough country bread and grissini with a brown butter tomato spread). a whole leg of slowly braised lamb, glazed with Calabrian honey chillies and balsamic vinegar; daily rotating crudo; a whole 8-pound snapper marinated with thyme and lemon, then toasted head-on and charred until crispy; and various desserts. Bestia prices start at $ 450. To reserve, send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Bestia”. Menu substitutions are not possible for Bestia. Please note: You can still make reservations to dine from Macchialina’s regular menu in the socially distant backyard and on the terrace of the restaurant, or to order to take away or for delivery. 820 Alton Rd., St John Beach; 305-534-2124; macchialina.com.
