After a six-month hiatus, the Palace Bar’s legendary drag brunch returns this weekend. Brunch begins today, Friday, September 18, with two special shows at 12 noon and 2 p.m., followed by shows on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The tables have a reduced footprint, and all performers and staff wear masks to protect guests and each other. On Saturday, Bagel Balls is hosting a pop-up at Dasher & Crank in Wynwood. Bud’s Burgers has a dozen cleverly named menu items, including “Shake Your Honey Maker” with white cheddar, candied bacon, honey barbecue sauce, and crispy onions. the “Bohemian radish”, garnished with cucumber, pickled carrots, hoisin sauce, radishes, coleslaw and coriander; and the “Bruschetta Bout It” with burrata, tomato sauce, garlic butter, basil and balsamic glaze.
