Michael Schwartz + Krispy Krunchy Chicken Collab

Two St John favorites – Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink and Krispy Krunchy Chicken – meet for just one day for a shared chicken sandwich. Two versions of the MGFD x KKC Fried Chicken Sandwich will be available on Saturday August 1st: one for pickup and one for meal time at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink in St John’s Design District. The sandwich consists of a Krispy Krunchy chicken breast with Michael’s real kimchi, melted American cheese and kimchi ranch dressing on a Martin’s potato bun. The take-out version is paired with a small side of fries and costs $ 10. The dine-in version is the same sandwich paired with veggies or an order of full size fries for $ 15. The to-go version must be pre-ordered via ToastTab and can be picked up on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. After ordering, customers can choose a pickup time that reduces waiting times and allows social distancing. Take-away beer at Concrete Beach Brewery

The Wynwood-based brewery has started a beer pickup every Thursday through Sunday. Customers can pre-order by visiting the brewery’s e-store. There you can choose whether you want to pick up immediately or set a specific time. The website is picked up in steps of 15 minutes to avoid multiple pickups at the same time. All beer orders must be made through the online system (goods can also be sold through the e-store). Beers available for takeaway this week include Havana Lager, Sola IPA, Coastal Clara, and Rosé Ale (starting at $ 11). La Trova’s family dinner includes a rotating menu of restaurant favorites (including cocktails) that can only be picked up on Saturdays. Highlights include empanadas, lechón asado, and flan. Amber’s beloved roast chicken is also available for pick-up, and is served with spicy coleslaw and chocolate pudding. Chef pop-up series at 1-800-Lucky

A new pop-up series launched by 1-800-Lucky kicks off Saturday and features some of South Florida’s favorite chefs. This weekend, expect a concept from head chef Tam Pham and his partner Harrison Ramhofer. Tam Tam offers an upscale selection of Vietnamese street food, inspired by the cuisine from Pham’s hometown Saigon. Among the menu items: spring rolls, grilled aubergines, mom’s chicken curry, Saigon barbecue beef banh mi and viet chicken sandwich. Every month 1-800-Lucky will announce a new chef who will take over the pop-up with a new concept.
